Oh what a knight!
2 10 2009For your home learning this week, I would like you to look closely at the picture of the knight that I have provided. I would then like you to write a description of the knight. I would like you to tell me what he looks like, what his personality is like and what he likes doing.

This is a very brave knight and has a trusty horse to take him to battle. His armour is very shiny and heavy to protect him, his horse also has armour to protect him and wears the cloak belonging to his regiment.
He lives in a big castle with King Arthur, and therefore has a rich and royal life. He is not scared to fight for his country and a very proud man, who loves his job and horse.
He is a happy, kind man as he has a good life style living within the castle. He can sometimes be loud and shout in battle so that himself and his men do not die.
I think this Knight is powerful and fearless. I also think he is very young and training to be a Knight. He wants to follow in the footsteps of his farther who is the King.
He trusts his horse to take him into battle and fight the enemy.
He has just been fitted with a new suit of armour and is trying it out .
He is desperate to impress his father and be an even better Knight than him.
My knight is called Sir Benjamin and is 24 years old. He is strong and likes to do lots of jousting and watches the other jousts as well.
He is also a Prince of another land, but was never crowned King. His brother, Sir Lancelot was best friends with King Arthur but Benjamin wasn’t allowed to play because he was too young.
His brother called him a nervous wreck but the people of his fathers landbowed and called him a brave handsome Prince. His brother could not be trusted though. He went off with Queen Gwinavere and King Arthur didnt want to be his friend anymore. Sir Benjamin would go up to him and say “NA NA NA NA NA, King Arthur doesn’t like you any more”.
When he isnt fighting, preparing to fight or at a meeting Sir Benjamin is spending time with the horses. He is a very busy knight and King Arthur likes him very much.
This knight is called Tom the bold he is the bravest man alive,he is full of courage and has never turned down a quest. His noble steed is called Valiant, Valiant’s top speed is faster than light and his hooves hold the legendery golden horseshoe that alows him to do so. Tom is a hearty, loving and proud gentlemen, he has wanted to be a knight since he was two years old and his first word was ‘dragon’. All of Tom’s armour shines gold.
my knight is called Sir Hadley, he is a very very brave knight but also kind he has a very kind face and loves his horse very much, so much that the horse has a matching outfit to him, He trusts his horse very much to take him into battle and get him out safely, he has a very shiny sword, shield, helmet and armour to protect him, all made from the finest materials, He likes to protect his castle from the enemy and when he is not fighting he likes to practice sword fighting and drinking beer with his friends in fine beer goblets.
The knight looks quite young, about 20 years old. He is riding his strong,
brave and loyal horse. They have matching robes with flowers and red and white
stripes. Underneath these they are wearing bright, shiny silver armour. They are charging into combat with the enemy. He is fearless but he is generous to peasants and the old. He enjoys saving maidens, slaying dragons and other quests. One day he hopes to find enough treasure to build his own castle in Britain.
